We are presenting a DOCUDRAMA in the current year, THAT ILLUMINATES THE GLORIOUS PAST OF SIKH EMPIRES BY USING THE SIKH COINS AS MARKERS MILESTONES OF SIKH HISTORY.
Most of the eminent scholars, Numismatists & historians irrespective of geographical boundaries agree that Sikh coins numismatic is a long neglected subject by historians & numismatists alike.
Our recently released trailer is a witness to our passion for making the first ever documentary film to expose to the world & especially to the youth, our future leaders, to our glorious & commendable history before it evaporates completely out of the text books.
Most written records from the ancient worlds have been lost or destroyed. As coins are mass produced, and durable, they survive, where other evidence may not. Indeed sometimes they are the only kind of evidence we have, as per British Museum.
Conserving heritage is thus is of utmost importance as it provides a sense of identity and continuity in a fast changing world for future generations. Heritage basically represent the past history and culture of a nation. once a piece of history is destroyed, it is lost forever.
The film will make the world aware of the once most secular & just rule the real ‘Halemi Raj' in Punjab where no communal pogroms or genocides ever occurred and all religious minorities enjoyed equal rights & equal royal funding for religious affairs under Sikh empire.
Sikh Coins are unique as they did not carry the picture or name of the Sikh rulers. Due to this uniqueness a sikh coin can easily be recognized among a heap of various coins.
