What is DasvandhWeek?

 

DasvandhWeek is our community’s annual opportunity to uplift Sikh-led organizations and activists making a real impact. During this special 10-day giving challenge, all donations made on dvnetwork.org are MATCHED 1:1, according to the matching policy, until the match fund is exhausted.

DasvandhWeek 2025 will take place from November 14–23, 2025, giving donors a chance to DOUBLE their donations to over 70+ Sikh-led organizations and projects. 

 

DasvandhWeek matching will begin on November 14th at 9:00 AM PST and will end on November 24th at 12:00 AM PST. 

Announcement: November 21st, 2025 - 3 PM PST - a new match is going to be active on Saturday November 22, 2025 at 8:00 AM PST and will be available until exhausted or November 24, 2025, whichever comes first. The policy is as follows: 

⚙️ Match Limits

• $100 maximum match per donation
  (Example: a $1,000 donation receives a $100 match)
• $100 total per donor per organization
  (You can make matched donations to multiple organizations)
• $5,000 match cap per organization or project
  (Prize funds are not included in this cap)

📋 Additional Policies

• The matching code will be active beginning at 11AM PST on November 22, 2025.
• Matches are applied instantly during checkout.
• Donations to private projects are not eligible for matching.
• If donor cart includes multiple projects from the same organization, the match will only apply to one.
• We reserve the right to withhold a match if terms or policies are not followed. We reserve the right to withhold a match if unusual activity is detected.

DasvandhWeek 2025 — Recurring Donation Bonus

Note: The Recurring Donation Bonus expires on Friday November 21st at 9:00 PM PST. 

Bonus Code

• We’re excited to introduce a special bonus code: DVBONUS25. This code can be used for all new monthly recurring donations started after November 15 at 6:00 AM PST, until exhausted or updated provided.
• For monthly donations created directly on an organization or project page, the DVBONUS25 code will be automatically applied at checkout.
• For monthly donations created through AutoDasvandh, the DVBONUS25 bonus will be applied retroactively after checkout, and the $50 one-time bonus will be split across your selected organizations.
• Please review the checkout summary to ensure the bonus was applied correctly. Reminders will also be visible on the website.

⚙️ Match Limits

• A $50 one-time bonus will be added to any new monthly donation (e.g., a $20/month donation will receive a $50 one-time bonus).
• These bonus amounts do not count toward the $10,000 match cap per organization.
• Recurring donations to private projects are not eligible for the bonus.
• AutoDasvandh bonuses will be applied manually by the DVN team each day during DasvandhWeek.

📋 Additional Policies

• This bonus applies only to new monthly donations started on or after November 15 at 6:00 AM PST.
• Only one matching code of each type will be honored per donor per organization/project (you may use the code multiple times if donating to different organizations/projects).
• Canceling an existing recurring donation before DasvandhWeek and starting a “new” one to the same organization/project does not qualify as a new recurring donation and will not receive the bonus.
• DVN reserves the right to revoke bonus funds and restrict participation if unusual activity is detected.
• If unusual activity is detected, an organization or project may go under Compliance Review. Donations may not be accepted until the Compliance Review is completed. 

To support organizations sustainably, we ask donors to sign up for monthly giving in good faith and maintain the recurring donation beyond the initial bonus period. Your commitment ensures year-round impact and helps sustain essential projects. Thank you for your generosity!

Codes

• Matching Code: DVWEEK25
• The code will be automatically applied at checkout.
• Please review the summary on the right hand side of the checkout page to confirm that the match has been applied.
• Reminders will also be displayed on the website during the campaign.

 

🏆 Prizes for Participating Organizations

• $12,500 – most unique donors over 10 days
• $7,500 – second-most unique donors
• $5,000 – third-most unique donors
