GURVINDER PAL SINGH & PARVINDER KAUR

G.P. Singh is an innovator, successful entrepreneur, a highly published research scientist, and civic leader. In 1986, he formed Karta Technologies, Inc. and grew it into San Antonio’s largest defense contractor for professional services. The company’s success led to its acquisition in 2007 by NCI Information Systems, Inc. (NCIT-NASDAQ).

Along the way, Dr. Singh has published more than 50 technical papers and numerous reports related to ultrasound, power plant maintenance and operations, artificial intelligence, computer-based learning, and was granted six US patents for his inventions.

His wife, Parvinder (Winkey) Kaur has been a pivotal partner in the family’s successes. Dr. Singh and his family are engaged locally and nationally in Sikh issues, supporting key tenets of tolerance and understanding, not only for Sikhs but for all people.

PARVINDERJIT SINGH & PARVEEN KAUR KHANUJA

Parvinder Singh is a medical oncologist, founder and managing partner of Ironwood Cancer and Research Centers. He has served as Director at large for AZ Clinical Oncology Society, held multiple appointments in the Dignity Hospital System and has been on the Deans council for ASU law school.

Parvinder Singh is a founding member of Ik Manzil, a Board member of 5 Rivers Foundation, and has served on the advisory board of the Sikh Coalition. Together with his wife Parveen Kaur, they have also been involved in setting up a permanent Sikh Art Gallery at Phoenix Art Museum, where Parvinder Singh serves on the Board of Trustees.

GURVENDRA SINGH SURI & MANJEET KAUR

Based in Southlake, Texas, Gurvendra Singh Suri is the Founder and CEO of "The Suri Group," an early-stage and growth investor in technology and tech-enabled services. With over 30 years of experience, Gurvendra is recognized as one of the top 500 most powerful business leaders in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Supported by his wife Manjeet Kaur, they actively engage in charitable activities, including Beyond Borders, a private charity foundation supporting disadvantaged families and nonprofits.

Gurvendra currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Onix, a member of the board at Invafresh and advises Tailwind Capital Partners (Private Equity Firm). He was honored as the DFW Tech Titan Community Hero in 2010 and  Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011. He co-founded "Ik Manzil," a Sikh philanthropy organization promoting collective impact in 2008. Along with their daughters Komal and Bhavi, they have engaged in making a positive difference within the community at large based on Sikh tenents. 

NIRMALJEET KAUR & GURDIP SINGH MALIK

Gurdip Singh Malik and Nirmaljeet Kaur Malik live in Los Angeles, CA with their family. They are successful entrepreneurs who own and run a wholesale women's clothing company, Papillon Eastern Imports, which they started in 1978. They are very involved in their local Sangat and at Khalsa Care Foundation in Pacoima, California.

AMARJIT KAUR & AMARJIT SINGH

Amarjit Kaur and Amarjit Singh reside in Buffalo, New York. Amarjit Singh is a Professor and semi-retired colorectal surgeon. Amarjit Kaur is a retired pathologist. They are both well traveled, and enjoy a large extended family, with a concentration in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Together they were founding members of the North American Sikh Medical and Dental Association, where Amarjit Singh has been a past President and served as CME director for well over a decade. They have been leaders in their local Guruduara since its founding and have been heavily involved over the years in Gurmat Camps, and Speech Symposium.

MANINDERPAL KAUR & TEJINDER SINGH GLAMOUR

Maninderpal (Kusum) Kaur and Tejinder Singh Glamour have resided in St. Petersburg, Florida for 25 years. Tejinder has a robust practice in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He serves on the Board of Trustees for St. Anthony's Hospital and on executive committees at St. Anthony's and Northside Hospitals. He has been the Chief of GI Division in several area hospitals and regularly teaches residents in the family practice program.

Kusum has been the backbone of the family, helping to raise their four adult children. They encouraged their children to pursue diverse interests like piano, swimming, and volunteering at local shelters through Seva. Both are active in their local community, participating in free medical clinics, healthcare screenings, and serving on the Board of the Tampa Bay Gurudwara. Their commitment to giving back shines through their involvement and contributions.

JOLLY SINGH & BANDANA KAUR

Jolly Singh and Bandana Kaur live in Irvine, California with their three kids: Baani, Deena, and Bishaan. Jolly Singh works for a real estate private equity firm and Bandana Kaur is a practicing attorney.

They have a large extended family in Orange County, California and attend the Santa Ana Gurdwara. They are involved in their local Punjabi school, kirtan, bhangra, and Gurmat camps in Southern California.

SIMRAN KAUR & PRUB SINGH

Prub Singh and Simran Kaur live in Newport Coast, California with their two children, Sartaaj and Sujaan. Prub serves as the Chief Strategy Officer for an integrated healthcare system in Southern California and is the CEO of a health plan. Simran also works in healthcare as a Director of analytics and planning.

Prub and Simran each serve on several healthcare, education, and community boards and support various charities that make a difference in their community and worldwide.

Prub and Simran enjoy spending time with their large extended families and are actively engaged with the local sangat at Santa Ana Gurdwara. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling, cooking, and in the outdoors.

HARJIT KAUR & SURENDRAPAL SINGH MAC

Harjit Kaur is a retired physiatrist who worked alongside her husband Surendrapal Singh Mac, a retired orthopedic surgeon. They founded Stanly Orthopedic and Hand Surgery Clinic in 1979 and served the Albemarle, North Carolina area for 36 years.

They were involved in the first Gurdwara Sahib built in Durham, North Carolina (SGNC) and later in Gurdwara Sahib Charlotte where Surendrapal Singh also served as President for ten years. He is also a permanent trustee of Sikh Heritage society of Greater Charlotte. They have been involved in many service projects through Rotary Club and have been Rotarians for seventeen years.

Both have been active in giving various presentations about Sikhism to Churches, Schools, Jewish temples and clubs. They reside in Charlotte, North Carolina. They have two married sons and one granddaughter.

HARINDERJIT SINGH & DOLLY KAUR

Harinderjit Singh and Dolly Kaur live in Augusta, Georgia. Harinderjit Singh is a retired vitreoretinal surgeon who founded Southeast Retina Center in the 1980s. He is a philanthropist, and a successful real estate entrepreneur, serving as CEO of Singh Investment Group. Arvind K Singh (Dolly) is board certified internist, retired from VA hospital, now working part time at VA hospital.

Harinderjit has been instrumental in starting Guru Harkrishan Charitable Eye Hospital, Sohana near Chandigarh. He has served as trustee and has supplied substantial medical equipment.

He currently visits India twice a year to help with complex eye surgeries at Guru Harkishan Charitable Eye Hospital, Guru Granth Sahib Sikh Society, Chandigarh, Grewal Eye Institute and several other eye hospitals including Pakistan.

HARSHIVINDERJIT SINGH BAINS & ARVINDER KAUR BAINS

Dr. Harshi Bains started with a BSEE degree from University of Texas at Austin and proceeded to complete a combined MD and PhD degrees from Johns Hopkins University School of medicine, followed by residency in Ophthalmology and fellowship in Vitreoretinal surgery. He is the President of Tyler Retina Consultants in Tyler, TX.

Dr. Arvinder Bains completed her Medical Degree from Dayanand Medical College in Ludhiana. She conducted research at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and completed her internal medicine residency at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. She has been serving the Tyler TX veterans as their primary care physician.

JAGJIT KAUR & PARDEEP SINGH

Pardeep Singh is the CEO of Roshni Foods, a wholesale food distribution company based out of Maryland. Immigrating to the states in 1991, Pardeep is an entrepreneur at his core. He has humbly developed and grown two multi-million dollar companies that have taught him resilience and the power of kirpa.

Pardeep is the embodiment of a disciple who is constantly learning as demonstrated by his passion for learning to play dilruba and golf. Last yet most importantly, Pardeep is a loving husband to Jagjit Kaur.

Jagjit Kaur serves as the President of Roshni Foods and manages the accounting functions of the business. She is passionate about seva, especially with langar and feeding the homeless. She also has a passion for interior decoration and design.

MANDEEP KAUR & MANDEEP SINGH

Mandeep Singh is a practicing vitreo-retinal surgeon, and a principal partner with Retina Group of Florida. He has over 30 combined presentations and publications in peer-reviewed journals. In 2015, Mandeep was named among the top 40 most influential ophthalmologists under age 40 worldwide by his peers in The Ophthalmologist. He also enjoys investing, bonsai, playing sarangi, beekeeping, and nautical activities.

Mandeep (Sona) Kaur is an elementary school teacher. She enjoys writing, painting, and yoga. Together they enjoy cooking, traveling, studying Gurbani and are raising their three young children, hoping to instill Sikh values in the next generation. They are involved in their local Guruduara’s Gurmukhi school, Paath Symposium, Gurmat Camps, and have a deep love for singing classical Gurbani Kirtan.

INDERPAL SINGH

Inderpal Singh is Founder and Managing Director of Northshore Partners, a boutique management and technology consulting firm. Previously he worked with the Executive team at the world’s largest hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates. He has also served as a Senior Vice President at HSBC North America and as a Consultant with McKinsey & Company in the financial services and insurance sectors. He started his professional career at Microsoft, where he led the release of Microsoft Windows and Office product features. He holds an Honors B.Math in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo (Canada), and an MBA in Finance, Marketing and Technology from the Kellogg School of Management.

MANPREET SINGH

Manpreet Singh is an entrepreneur who has successfully founded and led multiple companies. He's currently on the founding team of a health tech company.  He previously worked as a healthcare consultant with McKinsey & Company. Manpreet graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania & a B.S. from the Wharton School of Business. He also holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. 

BHUPINDER SINGH

Bhupinder Singh, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist serving patients at Heart and Vascular Care located in Plano, Texas. Dr. Singh is board certified in cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular ultrasound.
After Dr. Singh’s father suffered two heart attacks, he accompanied his father to the United States to receive an open-heart surgery, becoming intimately involved in his care. Fascinated by the field of medicine, Dr. Singh switched career paths to pursue his medical degree.

Dr. Singh completed his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of Maryland and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Virginia as well as trained in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. He further specialized in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Hartford Hospital. With his wife, Navneet, who is a physician assistant at Heart and Vascular Care, they currently reside and work in Plano, TX. Outside of work, Dr. Singh enjoys reading, traveling, practicing yoga, jogging, and spending time with family.

SANDEEP SINGH & HARMAN KAUR

Dr. Singh is a board-certified cardiologist with expertise in cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular ultrasound. He completed his medical education at the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his fellowship in Cardiology at University of Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, where he also served as Chief Cardiology Fellow. Dr. Singh is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians. He is an active member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Harman P. Kaur is a board-certified physician specializing in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. She provides personalized care at Belt Line Medical Clinic, which she founded, focusing on conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cancer prevention. Dr. Kaur graduated in the top 10% of her class at Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, India and completed Internal Medicine residencies at University of Washington School of Medicine and SUNY-Buffalo Internal Medicine, including a fellowship at the Wilmot Cancer Institute. Together, they solace in spending time with family, traveling, and practicing her Sikh faith.

DEEPINDER SINGH & FAMILY

Deepinder Sign founded his company, 75F, in 2012 after having designed some of the world’s fastest core networks for Tier 1 service providers like AT&T, NTT and Verizon. 75F is an intelligent building solution that utilizes the Internet of Things and the latest in Cloud Computing to create systems that predict, monitor and manage the needs of buildings. With almost 25 years of experience in electronics and computing, he’s brought a wealth of embedded products to the market and uses the principle of simplifying operational complexity and making products intuitive. Deepinder’s goal is to make commercial building controls as ubiquitous and easy to install as setting up an iPhone.

GURMIT & SEEMA BHATIA

Gurmit serves as the Co-founder & Chairman of US Med-Equip, a nationwide medical equipment company. He has been in the biomedical services and equipment rental industry for over 20 years. In 1998, he founded Tech-Mate, built to rent, sell, and service movable medical equipment within the Houston area. After reestablishing Tech-Mate as US Med-Equip with his business partner in 2004, Gurmit operated as President & CEO for 17 years, retiring in 2021. He graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in 1989 and received his Associate’s degree in Electronic Engineering from ITT Technical Institute. He and his wife, Seema, reside in Houston and have two children.
