Our goal at Dasvandh Network is to inspire giving.

Our Overview

Dasvandh Network is an online giving platform where donors and organizations can actively participate in the spirit of Dasvandh, or share part of one’s earnings towards the betterment of society. We assist 60+ well-vetted organizations and grassroots community projects in finding new donors through our crowdfunding platform and donation processing. At Dasvandh Network, we make every effort to ensure that your funds are used efficiently and responsibly.

Our Mission

We aim to serve to be the centralized point of fundraising and sustainability. Through our grassroots platform, new products, and partnerships, we will create a cause-agnostic, highly-active donation landscape that will ultimately enable us to better serve our constituents.

Our Vision

Our vision is for all Sikhs to give Dasvandh in support of high impact activism aligned with Sikh values that address the challenges facing Sikhs and our broader communities.

Zero Admin Fees

We streamline fundraising to make this effort more cost-efficient for the community. Only 3.5% of funds raised by credit card go toward processing fees ($0.50 for ACH transactions and $0 for check payments) which are only used to cover third party payment processing fees. Meet Our Team

Amrita Bamrah

Executive Director

Amrita Bamrah is a seasoned nonprofit leader with more than 10 years of experience in community engagement, social impact grassroots organizing, policy, and advocacy. Her professional journey reveals a dynamic history across technology and nonprofit sectors. Amrita most recently held the role of U.S. Public Policy Manager at Meta, where she spearheaded the company’s engagement with U.S. advocacy groups, civil rights organizations, and Sikh nonprofits. Her work included advancing key equity and civil rights issues within the company and creating opportunities for community members to meaningfully engage in policy discussions at the company.

Amrita’s commitment to community extends beyond corporate spaces, evident through her roles at leading nonprofit organizations including the Center for Policing Equity, Everytown for Gun Safety, and SALDEF. Throughout these experiences, Amrita focused on fostering partnerships with and uplifting grassroots communities to become changemakers. Her academic pursuits at the University of Chicago, where she obtained a Masters of Social Work, and at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Economics, laid the groundwork for a career driven by a desire for positive change.

Jaspreet Kaur

Operations Manager

Jaspreet Kaur is joining Dasvandh Network as our new Operations Manager. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from managing day-to-day operations and finance-related tasks to supporting technology and data initiatives. Jaspreet Kaur brings over ten years of dedicated experience spanning academia and operations management. Armed with an MBA degree, she seamlessly integrates her passion for education with a sharp focus on operational excellence. Her professional journey began in academia, where she instructed both undergraduate and graduate students for several years. Over the last 5 years she transitioned into operations management within academia, concentrating on optimizing processes, refining workflows, and enhancing overall productivity.

Manpreet Kaur

Marketing Manager

Manpreet Kaur will be taking over the Marketing Manager role. She will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing brand awareness, fostering community engagement, and driving revenue growth. Manpreet's background is a blend of Biology with a passion for marketing. With a Masters degree under her belt, she streamlined operations at a marketing start-up before diving into tech as a product associate for an AI start-up. Committed to the community, she's actively involved in Sikh organizations, driving Seva services. With creativity and dedication, Manpreet is set to elevate our marketing endeavors to new heights.
