What is the Vaisakhi Campaign? 

As Vaisakhi approaches, we invite you to celebrate with the spirit of Dasvandh and join us in uplifting our communities through giving. From April 6-15, Dasvandh Network (DVN) will be running a special Vaisakhi campaign to highlight the power of generosity and the impact of Sikh-led initiatives.

 

Vaisakhi is a time of renewal, reflection, and celebration—marking the harvest, the formation of the Khalsa, and the promise of unity and strength. It is also a time to reflect on the importance of Dasvandh—a practice rooted in our faith that calls us to give a portion of what we have for the greater good of our community. This Vaisakhi, we invite you to embrace the spirit of Dasvandh by giving back to those who need it most. Through your generosity, we can cultivate a future of growth, hope, and collective strength.

 

Participating organizations will be eligible to receive special “prizes” as an incentive to boost engagement. Read more about these below: 

 

Prize Categories and Incentives

Recurring Donation Partner Bonus

• $100 bonus per verified new recurring sign-up, distributed in accordance with DVN's standard bonus policy.

Partners receive a $100 bonus for each new qualifying recurring donation initiated during the campaign. 
Only new recurring donations count. Cancelling and restarting a recurring donation to the same organization does not qualify. 
Recurring donations to private projects are not eligible for the bonus. 

First Mover Prize

The prize rewards partners who energize their communities right out of the gate. The partner with the highest number of verified new recurring donations in the first 48 hours of the campaign wins a match fund prize.

• A uniqueness standard applies across all incentives. DVN's determination of qualifying sign-ups is final. 
• In the event of a tie, prize will be split equally between tied partners.

General Policies

• DVN's decisions on prize, bonus, and eligibility determinations are final. 
• If our internal committee uncovers unusual activity, we reserve the right to withdraw eligibility for the prizes. 
• Unusual activity may trigger a Compliance Review. During a review, donations and bonuses may be paused until the review is complete. 
• DVN reserves the right to amend these policies at any time. 
• Disclaimer: To ensure ongoing support for your chosen organization, we ask that donors sign up for the monthly donation in good faith and you maintain your monthly donation for at least 6 months beyond the initial campaign period.
