Our goal is to provide individuals with the most basic needs with dignity. We hope to improve the health, hygiene and well-being of people experiencing homelessness and under-privileged families.
Tera hands is an initiative to help homeless women and underprivileged families by providing hygiene bagswhich include sanitary napkins, tampons and wipes.
13 "Tera" Hands is inspired by the teachings of Guru Nanak who realized all of humanity as a manifestation of Vaheguru. We are driven by the beliefs that everyone and everything is a part of Vaheguru, that nothing is yours or mine, and that our hands will act as instruments of seva for Vaheguru's creation. We are undertaking this project to help provide access to hygiene products that will improve the safety and health of homeless individuals. We will provide hygiene products including soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, sanitary napkins, tampons and wipes.
If you would like to do a similar outreach at your local shelter or food pantry, please contact us. We will provide you with the material for packages and you will be able to distribute the hygiene packagaes.
Each care package is currently $2.5 per kit.
