DONATIONS TO ENSAAF ARE BEING MATCHED DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR

39 years ago in 1984, the Indian government’s attack on the Harmandir Sahib complex in Amritsar, Punjab marked the beginning of a decades long reign of terror in which security forces disappeared and unlawfully killed thousands

Earlier this June, Ensaaf released data on hundreds of police officials named by survivors as directly involved in unlawfully killing 2,003 individuals. Ensaaf has now selected 40 senior police officials to highlight their direct involvement in these atrocity crimes.

Our Work for Truth & Justice

The next phase of this project will be to assemble detailed dossiers on these senior officials, establishing the linkages of their direct and command responsibility for the widespread and systematic enforced disappearances and murders.

We already released a dossier on the notorious Sumedh Saini, and plan to issue several new dossiers this year.

Ensaaf’s goals are to promote survivors’ right to reparations, counter state denial, and support accountability by preserving evidence and archival information. Please help our efforts to create an undeniable record of India’s atrocity crimes.
