Our Vision
Empowering Sikhs worldwide to realize their full potential.
The Inspiriation
While giving school fees for multiple students over the last 5 years, one thing we have always thought on how we can empower the families to be independent and not relying on donations to get through. Also the kids had no clue on what to study or what career to choose.
We also realized that the gurmat-based resources for kids and youth are scarce. Taking inspiration from these, an organization is formed BC, Canada to work on it and tackling these challenges.
Our Goal
The association will be working on empowering Sikhs by:
- Providing scholarships to needy Sikh girls.
- Providing college, career and business mentoring and support.
- Providing support in researching, publishing and distributing Sikh history, literature and motivational videos especially for kids and youth.
Need and Costs
$30K is an estimation from the last year which the team spent personally before organizing formally on these efforts ($10K on donations to help with business mentoring and support, $15K on scholarships, career and college mentoring, and $5K on literature research and administration). However, the need for mental health is increased which we want to consider in the coming years.
Timeline & Audience
Team sewadars have been helping these things on individual basis but getting a project created with also get the benefits of corporate matching to make us achieve much more. The goal is to support those in US, Canada & India. However, most of the Sikhs being supported historically have been in India.

Researching the generative SIKH AI Model
Waheguroo ji ka Khalsa Waheguroo ji ki Fateh!!
After personally seeing the strength of generative AI in both personal and professional capacities, we have officially began investment in piloting AI for Sikhi and training a model per Gurmat principles and will be available to everyone in the few months. It will be the go-to platform in the future and it will help tackle misinformation spread online along with ensuring the alignment of content per Gurmat.
Few goals we have from our AI model:1. Content should be vetted per Gurmat and not whatever is available on internet. So proper training of the model and ensure that generative AI is not making something outside of the training are the key areas we are investing.
2. Gurbani is only showing from Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Bani of Guru Gobind Singh ji not from any other source. Generative AI tends to make everything on its own based on the training and that include Gurbani as well by connecting some random words, we are looking at ways of restricting it.
3. Image generation has to be respectful towards Sikh principles. Currently there's no good image generation for Amritdhari Sikh girls. This is the last goal but will be investigating that area as well.
We will keep the AI model freely available to everyone and not a paid subscription because our goal is to serve the panth. Thank you for all your support.

Sikh Empowerment Association Project Updates
- We have produced our first animation - Nikka Jeha Khalsa Anandpur Sahib Chaleya which can be watched for free at YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYs3i5PnG5M.
- We have published a book "Jot Roop Guru Nanak" after 4 years of research. All our donors got a copy of it. It can be purchased by emailing [email protected]. It will be available on Amazon in the near future for e-book.
- We have provided scholarships and support to 2 Gursikh girls from the needy family to pursue professional education (B. Pharmacy & B. Sc. Physics).
- We have provided business, education & career mentoring. The form for requesting advise and guidance will be available in our upcoming website but in the meantime feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] for college applications, career guidance or business mentoring.
