Sikh Learning Center is a U.S.-based registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit project by Sikh Family Hub, dedicated to reviving the Sikh spirit and ensuring the holistic success of the Panth through education, wellness, and leadership that are both Guru Granth Sahib Ji–informed and research-driven.

The Urgent Need

Across the globe, Sikh families face a deepening crisis, disconnection from Sikhi, identity confusion, and emotional exhaustion among youth and caregivers. Many Sikh children grow up without access to Punjabi or Gurmat literacy, even in Punjab, our homeland, leaving them unable to read or understand Gurbani. Parents, caught between cultural expectations and modern pressures, often feel powerless to guide their children through this storm. The result is a generation at risk of losing its spiritual roots while struggling with stress, anxiety, and loneliness. Sikh Learning Center exists to bridge this generational and spiritual gap by bringing timeless Gurmat wisdom into modern, practical, and emotionally intelligent education through free or low-cost programs.

Our Mission

Our mission is to rebuild Sikh identity, wellness, and confidence within families by blending Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji-inspired principles with the best of modern educational and psychological research. We create safe, structured spaces where Sikhi becomes lived, joyful, and empowering, not overwhelming or performative.

What We Do

1. Gurmat Education

We deliver high-quality Gurmat learning, including Punjabi, Sikh history, and Gurbani philosophy, designed and taught by trained educators. Each class is designed not only to teach content but to awaken vichaar (reflection) and confidence, helping every learner see Sikhi as a way of life and their personal source of strength.

2. Free Holistic Wellness Summits & Family Seminars

We host free Gurmat-based wellness seminars, facilitated by certified Gursikh professionals in mental health, nutrition, and Gurbani-centred healing.

3. Building the Next Generation of Sikh Educators & Leaders

We believe Panthic seva must also be sustainable. That’s why every Gursikh educator and professional in our network is fairly compensated, with 90% of all program income directed to them. This model combats burnout and ensures that those serving the community can do so with dignity, focus, and financial stability.

Our Vision

At its heart, Sikh Learning Center is more than a school; it is a Panthic ecosystem where Sikh children and families rediscover pride in their identity. In essence, Sikh Learning Center is where Gurmat meets growth, where education becomes seva, and where every Sikh family learns to live in Chardi Kalaa, together!

How Sangat Can Help

Our programs are designed to be self-sustaining through modest student fees that go directly toward educator compensation, ensuring dignity and fairness for every Gursikh teacher. Your Dasvandh, however, fuels something far greater. It helps us build long-term Panthic infrastructure that will outlast individuals and continue serving future generations.

Why Dasvandh Support Matters

Too often, Panthic projects collapse due to volunteer burnout and a lack of structure. Your contribution helps us reverse that trend. With Guru Sahib’s kirpa and Sangat’s Dasvandh, we can establish a lasting global ecosystem for Sikhi learning, wellness, and leadership, a foundation that serves generations to come.

    Dignified Educator Pay Model

At Sikh Learning Center, we believe Panthic service must also be sustainable. That’s why we’ve built a research-informed, Gurmat-aligned compensation model that allocates 90% of tuition fees directly to educators, ensuring that the Gursikh professionals who carry our community’s spiritual and academic legacy are supported with dignity and can continue to use their expertise long term. Rather than relying solely on volunteerism or underpaid labour, we’re cultivating a model that empowers Sikh educators and professionals to thrive financially and spiritually, enabling them to commit to this work long-term without burnout.

We’re not inventing a new system, we’re activating the one Guru Sahib already gave us: Dasvandh. But instead of using it only for physical infrastructure and Langar system, we’re applying it toward human infrastructure, investing in well-trained, values-driven educators, wellness professionals, and curriculum designers who serve the Panth every day and develop future leaders for humanity.

    This model:

    1. Aligns with DVN’s mission to remove resource constraints from grassroots Panthic projects
    2. Brings transparency and structure to where donor dollars go
Supports systemic change, moving from scarcity-based seva to sustainable, professional excellence
    3. Dasvandh is already Sikhi’s economic engine. We’re simply refining the mechanism, so Sikh education isn’t dependent on passion alone but supported by structure.

With Sangat’s support, we can scale this dignified pay model across programs and regions until it becomes fully self-sustainable, ensuring quality, consistency, and longevity in Gurmat education for generations to come.
