The mission of United Sikh Mission (USM) is to provide humanitarian and enviornmental welfare. We as an organization intend to empower communities worldwilde by adressing needs in areas such as healthcare, education, and pollution.

For healthcare, USM would like to help emerging and developing countries like India deal with illnesses that should be otherwise easily preventable. USM does this by holding camps in impoverished areas that provide free healthcare for a period of a time each year.

To address educational needs, the organization has begun its process of providing opportunities to underprivileged childern to gain a better education. USM stongly believes that the children are the future and in order to have a strong foundation in any area, we must begin with them.

Regarding pollution, USM's belief is that we must do our part in our efforts towards sustainability and to reduce global warming for the future generations. USM has worked on setting up solar power plants at Gurdwaras (Darbar Sahib Amristar, Bir Baba Budha Sahib Ji) in India to decrease carbon dioxide emissions. As of now, USM has helped set up 1.2 Megawatts but the organization aims to increase that by 3 Megawatts at Darbar Sahib Amristar.
