Millions of Sikhs around the world recite and listen to Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Japji Sahib daily, but how many truly understand the wisdom it holds?

Japji Sahib is not just a prayer, it is a conversation between Guru Nanak and and our own minds, where each verse begins with a question the heart has always wanted to ask, about the meaning and purpose of life.

For over 20 years, Satpal Singh has been immersed in the study of Gurbani, including its grammar, meaning, and nuances. Now, for the first time, Nanak Naam is undertaking the ambitious task of creating a poetic audio translation of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's - Japji Sahib
A project designed not just to be heard, but felt.

This immersive experience will allow listeners to connect directly with Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s wisdom, opening their hearts and minds to the divine guidance embedded in each verse.

This project aligns with Nanak Naam’s mission to take Gurmat global, sharing the timeless teachings of Sikhi not just with a select few who understand Gurbani, but with humanity at large, bringing the spirit of “Sarbat da bhalla” to life.

By supporting this project, you will help ensure that the words of Guru Nanak Dev Ji reach millions worldwide in a form that is accurate, meditative, deeply transformative and also understood in English.
