When the floods swept through Punjab, they didn’t just wash away homes—they shattered lives. Families who once had shelter, safety, and dignity were left under open skies, with nothing but uncertainty.
But hope is not lost.
Through The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib, we are rebuilding more than houses—we are rebuilding lives, pride, and communities through education.
As part of its humanitarian initiative, “Rebuild Punjab, Rebuild Lives,” The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib, stepped forward to support affected families through immediate relief, rehabilitation, and continuity of education measures.
Through a detailed assessment across flood-affected villages in districts including Tarn Taran, Amritsar, Gurdaspur, and Ferozepur, we identified 467 students from 16 Akal Academies whose families were directly impacted by the floods.
To ensure uninterrupted education for 467 children affected by the 2025 Punjab
Floods by providing full/partial fee support and transport concessions for one
academic year.
Why it matters:
Children continue their education without
Children regain confidence and community trust post-disaster
