What Inspired This Project
For more than two decades, Sikhlens has brought Sikh stories to the world through films, books, and art. Yet one medium has remained out of reach — animation. The cost and complexity of traditional 3D production made it nearly impossible for small cultural foundations to create high-quality animated stories.
Now, with the power of AI-driven animation, Sikhlens is ready to change that.
Over the past year, our team has been experimenting with new AI tools that make world-class animation accessible and affordable. We’ve already created stunning short films like The Cosmic Drama of Life (on Guru Nanak Sahib Ji’s travels) and Jewels from Sikh Wisdom. This breakthrough has inspired us to formally launch Sikhlens Animations — a new creative division dedicated to bringing Sikh stories to life for audiences everywhere.
Why This Project Matters
Animation is one of the most powerful ways to reach young audiences. It transcends language and geography, allowing Sikh children and families across the world to see their heritage, values, and heroes on screen — something rarely available in mainstream media.
Through this initiative, we will preserve our faith, culture, and identity in a format that educates, inspires, and entertains. Our goal is to build a lasting library of animated Sikh stories that teachers, parents, and community leaders can use to nurture pride and connection among future generations.

How Funds Will Be Used
Our initial fundraising goal is $50,000, which will fund:
Completion and post-production of our 2D animated film Saka Sirhind (in English, Punjabi, and Hindi).
Production of 3–5 new AI-assisted short films, including The Cosmic Drama of Life and Jewels from Sikh Wisdom.
Translation, subtitling, and color correction for multilingual releases.
Creation of educational resources to integrate these films into Punjabi and Sunday school curricula worldwide.
Each dollar raised directly fuels the creation, distribution, and education impact of Sikh stories that will inspire audiences for generations to come.
