SikhiToTheMax, Sundar Gutka and various other platforms powered by Khalis Infrastructure bring Gurbani into homes, gurdwaras, and pockets worldwide.
However, our current setup is scattered across multiple hosts, and maintained by engineers who have to spend valuable time on servers instead of building new features for sangat. This setup struggles to handle the growing number of users on these websites.
For example:
- A nitnem app by one of the sangat groups uses Bani DB to do nitnem and also provide links to katha.
- Another gurbani app that uses BaniDB API, focuses on providing a more social experience of reading gurbani.
- There's an app built for kirtaniyas that use Bani DB API to create compositions and raag notations.
We at Khalis, want to serve all these usecases and provide even more. With your help, we will unify, secure, and automate our entire tech stack so every sikh enjoys instantaneous, uninterrupted access to the Gurbani.
Your Donation Will Help Us Create:
Migrate all our apps and services onto a single, standardized platform—no more “this app is here, that API is there.” One cloud, one seamless experience.
Automated vulnerability scans, centralized IAM, SSL certificate rotation, and GDPR/CCPA-aligned data handling.
Build a full CI/CD pipeline with distinct development, staging, and production environments—so our developers spend their time writing features, not configuring servers.
Implement centralized metrics, logs, and alerting to:
- Detect service degradations before users notice
- Trace errors to their root cause in seconds
- Ensure uptime during peak nitnem hours and live broadcasts
Establish multi-region backups and automated failover so our services stay online.
As you know we are adding bunch of new features to our apps that would put further strain on our existing infrastructure.
