The Guru’s Wisdom is Our True Treasure — But How Will the Youngest Among Us Receive It?

At SikhNet, we believe children deserve more than just information about Sikhi. They deserve joy, curiosity, connection, and a deep sense of belonging. They deserve to hear the stories of our Gurus and the wisdom of Gurbani in a way that is familiar, trustworthy, and beautifully crafted. This is the heart behind the SikhNet Kids Stories Project.

Many Sikh families around the world are searching for ways to help their children build a meaningful connection with Sikhi; in a format and language they can truly understand. While parents and grandparents do their best to share stories at home, there’s a growing need for well-produced, trustworthy digital content that can support and strengthen those efforts. At SikhNet, we are committed to filling that gap. Through this project, children will be able to listen to short, lovingly narrated Sakhis, sing rhymes that center Naam, Seva, and Sikh values, see expressive animations that bring Gurbani and Sikh history to life, and learn about Sikh practices like Rehat Maryada in a way that encourages understanding over obligation. Every story is crafted with the same care we’d want for our own children because for us, this is not just content. This is Seva.

Your support helps us produce more content, cover animation, narration, and post-production costs, and expand our content to include more diverse topics and formats. Donations will go directly toward creating high-quality Sikh children’s content and making it freely accessible across SikhNet platforms; the SikhNet App, the SikhNet Website, and YouTube. This project is our humble effort to build a living library of Sikh stories not just for today’s kids, but for generations to come. And we’re doing it with deep love, guided by the Sangat, and rooted in Seva.
